It has been difficult keeping the showhome we have been working on a "mystery". We have been working with Rocy homes on this amazing project and we are so excited for the unveiling! But not yet!
Our design plan going into this project was to design a home that has a definite "Atmosphere" feel, but at the same time forced us to take some design risks that were completely out of our comfort zone.
Below is our design for the main floor fireplace. The coloured rendering is what we created to give a better visual based on our original sketches and Auto CAD drawings, and the image on the right was taken from the job site yesterday. We have added the image of the sconces we have ordered to be placed in the areas on either side of the fireplace, which eventually will be covered in an amazing glossy and matte black wallpaper. A black polished marble will be installed to cover the hearth and fireplace surround to create what we would consider a very sexy fireplace!
